MIRCROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1/2 to 3/4 c. popcorn, popped

Bring to a boil:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Karo
1/2 tsp. salt

Boil for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Stir in popcorn (and peanuts if desired). Microwave for 3 to 3 1/3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Cool on cookie sheet. Makes 1/2 to 1 gallon of caramel corn, depending on the amount of caramel coating you like.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
