1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 or 2 tsp. grated onion
1/4 tsp. red pepper
8 slices bread

Combine first five ingredients. Spread small amount on each slice of bread. Roll bread up in jelly roll fashion. Secure with toothpicks. Slice each roll into thirds. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Serve hot. Yields 2 dozen.
