SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. melted butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (9") pie shell, unbaked

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Blend the melted butter, sugar and syrup in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs to the mixture. Add pecans. Pour the pecan filling into the pie shell and bake for 40-45 minutes. Cool before serving.
