BARBECUE SPARERIBS 
3 1/2 lbs. meaty spareribs
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. sherry wine
1/2 c. honey
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper

Place spareribs in shallow baking pan. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven. Remove from oven and drain off fat in dish. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over spareribs. Continue baking 1 hour or until tender, basting frequently to glaze. Serves 6.
