SAUCY BAKED PORK CHOPS 
7 or 8 (1/2 inch thick) pork chops
Shortening
Salt and pepper
1 med. onion
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
3 tbsp. catsup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water

Lightly brown chops using as little shortening as possible. Remove chops to baking dish. Season with salt and pepper while browning. Pour off excessive drippings.

Brown onion lightly in pan. Arrange over chops. Combine remaining ingredients in pan and heat (will be lumpy). Pour over chops. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
