CRACKER JACK 
7 qt. measured popcorn, popped
1/2 c. white Karo
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. dry roasted peanuts
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda

In a large pan, mix together Karo, butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, and allow to boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda, stir until blended (it will foam a little). Stir in peanuts. Divide popcorn onto 2 large cookie sheets that have been buttered. Pour peanut syrup over popcorn to coat it evenly. Place in oven at 200 to 250 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool and break apart to serve. Store in airtight containers.
