CHERRYL'S FAMOUS CRACKER JACKS 
2 c. brown sugar
2 cubes butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup

Cook above ingredients to boiling. Reduce heat; cook 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 1/2 cups raw peanuts. Stir into 5 quarts popped popcorn. Cook in oven 15 minutes. Remove, stir, and return to oven another 15 minutes. Remove and stir. Oven, 300 degrees.
