VEGETABLE SOUP 
1/2 - 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 tomato can of water
1 (8 oz.) can black eyed peas
1 sm. - med. chopped onion
2 tbsp. uncooked rice
1 sm. can corn (opt.)
1/4 - 1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
1-2 med. potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks

Cook meat and pour off grease (if any). You may cook onions with meat. Add other ingredients to meat. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 to 2 hours. More potatoes make it thicker.
