BAKED BANANAS | |
Sometimes the children did not eat the bananas and they got very ripe. Perfect for baking. Split ripe bananas length way, place in buttered pan, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and dot with butter and sprinkle with a little lemon juice. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. Eat warm or serve over ice cream. If you want to impress your guest you can flambe. To flambe, heat a little (2 ounces) dark rum or liquor and pour hot over fruit, cover a moment and stand back and light with match. |
