STRAWBERRIES AND RHUBARB 
1 bag frozen rhubarb
1 bag frozen, or 1 pt. fresh strawberries
1-1 1/2 c. sugar
Lemon juice to taste

Cook rhubarb and sugar until soft, about 10 minutes. Fold in fresh or frozen strawberries. Allow to cool slowly. Add lemon juice. Chill thoroughly. Serve on pound cake or alone as a fruit dessert. Can add 1 package Jello and reduce sugar to 1/2-3/4 cup.
