L.'S WHITE FROSTING 
Using a wire whisk combine 1/2 cup milk with 2 tablespoons flour in a saucepan. Boil until pretty thick, like pudding. Put in freezer for just 5 minutes until cold.

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening

Add milk mixture. Beat again until fluffy. Double the above for a 2-layer cake.
