MACADAMIA NUT MACAROONS 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
2 c. coconut
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 c. quick oats, uncooked
1/2 c. macadamia nuts

Cream butter, sugar, almond, and vanilla flavoring; beat in eggs and mix thoroughly. Sift flour with soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts, oats, and coconut. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking tray. (Add more nuts, if you can find them on sale.) Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool about 2 minutes before removing. Very fattening!
