FINNISH PIE 
CRUST:

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 stick (1/4 c.) butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs and sugar until foamy. In another bowl, mix flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture to egg mixture. Add melted butter and pour into a pie pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

FILLING:

4 oz. almonds (peeled, sliced)
4 oz. sugar
1 stick (1/4 c.) butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. molasses

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and boil at low heat for 20 minutes, stirring all the time. At this time, the pie crust should be ready to come out of the oven.

Spread the filling on the pie crust while pie is still hot, and return to bake 10 minutes more until the filling is golden brown.
