STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD 
We first tasted this at a family reunion. Has become a tradition at family gatherings.

2 c. unsalted pretzels, crushed
3/4 c. butter, melted
3 tbsp. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 c. Cool whip
3 sm. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed

Mix pretzels, butter, 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool.

Mix cream cheese and 1 cup sugar.

Stir in 2 cups Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel layer. Be sure there are no holes or thin spots.

Mix Jello, boiling water. Add 2 packages strawberries, thawed. Set for 10 minutes. Pour over Cool Whip layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
