PINEAPPLE SOUFFLE | |
1 #2 can pineapple tidbits (or chunks) 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/4 c. flour 6 slices bread, cut into 1/2" squares 1 1/2 sticks butter Melt butter and add bread squares. Set aside. Beat whole eggs slightly and add sugar, flour and pineapple, including juice. Alternate layers of bread mixture and egg mixture in well buttered baking dish, ending with bread mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, uncovered. Serves 8. |
