GRACE & PEACE UNLEAVENED
COMMUNION BREAD
 
2 3/4 cups whole-wheat flour (white whole wheat is OK)
1 cup water
4 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven (and baking stones if using them) to 350°F.

Combine all ingredients until mixed and knead for a couple of minutes.

Divide dough ball in half for easier handling. Separate out a small piece of dough to roll into the portion the pastor breaks (It should be about the size of the palm of your hand when rolled out to 1/8th-inch).

Roll the larger dough balls out to 1/8th-inch. Place them on a cookie sheet or warm baking stone. Before baking use a pizza cutter to score the dough into ~1-inch square pieces.

Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until the squares begin separating from each other. Cool, separate squares and bring to church.

Makes ~100 pieces.
