COLE SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, grated
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. water
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 grated carrot
1 diced bell pepper
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed

Grate cabbage and add salt; let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out the water and add the rest of the ingredients. Boil 1 minute, let cool and pour over cabbage, carrots and pepper. This will keep in ice box for 2-3 weeks or you can freeze some. I freeze alot of this and it will keep in an ice box for a long time when thawed.
