POLAND: POPPY SEED POTICAS 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
3 1/2 - 4 c. all purpose flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
Poppy seed filling
1 egg yolk, beaten

POPPY SEED FILLING: In medium bowl, combine 1 (12 oz.) can poppy seed filling, 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts, 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; set aside.

In small bowl with mixer at high speed, beat 1 egg white until soft peaks form; fold into poppy seed mix.
