1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
Sugar
Nutmeg

Blend sugar and Crisco. Add extracts and eggs. Dissolve soda in buttermilk, add to sugar mixture. Mix in flour and salt.

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
