ELMER'S CATSUP 
2 qts. chopped tomatoes
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Scald and peel tomatoes. Remove most seeds and chop in large pieces, enough to make 2 quarts, add other ingredients. Cook together until thick. Can in sterilize jars or use as relish. My family likes this served with fried potatoes.
