PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzel sticks 3/4 c. melted butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. sugar 6 oz. Jello (strawberry) 2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberry cartons 8 oz. cream cheese 1 lg. pkg. Cool Whip 2 c. boiling water Combine pretzels, sugar and butter. Spread on bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 or 8 minutes. Don't over cook! Whip cream cheese and sugar until creamy and fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooked pretzel crust. Mix Jello, water and strawberries. Let cool. When mixture begins to jell, pour over top of cream layer. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours until set. |
