HAWAIIAN SWEET POTATOES | |
2 cans (1 lb.) sweet potatoes (drained) 1 can (9 oz.) crushed pineapple (drained) 6 tbsp. butter, melted 3/4 tsp. salt Dash pepper 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 2 tbsp. brown sugar Preheat oven to 375. Mash potatoes in medium bowl; measure 4 cups. Stir in pineapple, 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper. Turn into 1 quart ungreased casserole dish. Combine remaining butter with bread crumbs and brown sugar. Sprinkle over potato mix; bake 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
