6 c. shredded cabbage
1/4 c. sliced green onion
1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt

Combine shredded cabbage and sliced green onion; chill. Blend together mayonnaise or salad dressing, sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt, stirring until sugar is dissolved; chill. Toss the seasoned mayonnaise lightly with cabbage mixture. Makes 10 servings.
