GERMAN CABBAGE SLAW 
1 lg. head cabbage
1 c. sugar
1 lg. onion

Shred cabbage and onion. Add sugar, mix and let set.

DRESSING:

1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. water

To make dressing put all ingredients in saucepan, cover and boil. Stir occasionally. Pour over cabbage mixture while hot. Mix well. Refrigerate. Better if made about 48 hours before serving.
