MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
4 qts. hot air popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. white syrup (Karo)
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine brown sugar, butter, salt and syrup in glass bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 1/2 minutes; stir well. Continue to microwave on High for 4 minutes, stirring several times. Add baking soda, stir and pour over popcorn in a grocery paper sack. Microwave at 50% power (or Defrost) for 1 1/2 minutes. Take it out, shake well and microwave again at 50% power for 1 1/2 minutes. Take it out, shake well and microwave a third time at 50% power for 1 1/2 minutes. Take it out and pour into a plastic container. When cool, seal tightly to keep fresh.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
