CHEESE BITS 
1 c. flour (not sifted)
1 c. very sharp grated cheese (or a little more)
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. red cayenne pepper (or a little less for milder "bits')
3/4 c. Rice Krispies

Cream butter and cheese thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Mix in flour and red pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands. Add in Rice Krispies. Mix and form in balls. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes or longer.

Pinch off balls about 3/4 to 7/8 inch in diameter and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Mash each flat with tines of fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or less. Check bottoms for browning. NOTE: GREAT served with dinner drinks and lively conversation.
