CHERRY PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 can (med.) crushed pineapple
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box white or yellow cake mix
3/4 c. butter

Grease 9 x 13 pan. Spread pineapple on bottom. Spoon cherry pie filling over top. Cover with dry cake mix. Cut slices of butter to cover top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
