OATMEAL COOKIE BAR 
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. rolled oats

Cream butter and sugar; add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats. Press half of mixture in 9 x 9-inch pan. Spread with your favorite jam. Place remaining dough on top and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
