SWEDISH COCONUT COOKIES 
4 c. shortening
4 c. butter
8 c. white sugar
12 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
4 c. toasted coconut
4 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening, butter, and sugar. Add dry ingredients, coconut, and vanilla. Shape into balls. Press with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees.
