ROASTED GARLIC GRAVY 
1/2 c. chicken broth
3 to 4 chicken bones (thighs or drumsticks)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. minced mushrooms
2 tsp. Garlic Puree (recipe follows)
1/2 chicken bouillon cube or 1/2 tsp. powdered chicken bouillon
1 1/2 c. whole milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Few drops gravy flavoring
Sage, thyme, rosemary & pepper to taste

In small saucepan over low heat, combine first 6 ingredients and simmer for about 1 hour. Remove bones. Mix milk and cornstarch together and stir into broth. Add gravy flavoring, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Season to taste. Makes about 2 cups.

20 calories per 2 tablespoon serving: 1 g. protein, 1 g. fat, less than 1 g. saturated fat, 3 g. carbohydrate, 75 mg. sodium, 5 mg. cholesterol, less than 1 g. dietary fiber.
