1 1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. butter, softened
4 c. Raisin Nut Bran cereal
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips

Mix peanut butter and butter in large bowl. Stir in cereal. Mix in powdered sugar, 1/3 at a time. Press mixture firmly in ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Heat shortening in 1 quart saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir in chocolate chips. Continue low heat. Stir constantly until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Spread over cereal mixture. Refrigerate about 1 hour. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. About 36 squares.
