GREEN CHILI AND CORN CASSEROLE 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. cream style corn
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. melted shortening or oil
1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) can diced Ortega chilies
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients except 1/2 cup cheese. Pour in greased oblong pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
