BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
1 bunch broccoli (about 2 stalks) cleaned, peeled and cut in small pieces
1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. butter
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 lg. can canned milk
Garlic salt
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

Saute onions and celery together. Cook broccoli until tender, then mash. Combine all ingredients except Cheddar cheese. Adjust seasoning. Before serving, add 1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Use low heat. May require additional milk.
