ICEBOX COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
Nuts (opt.)

Mix all above ingredients and mold into long rolls. Refrigerate several hours or overnight (will keep several days). When ready to bake, slice and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Should be crisp. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
