CASSEROLE STEAK 
2 lbs. round steak, cut in pieces
Salt
Pepper
Flour

Beat steak; cover with flour, salt and pepper. Brown steak in small amount of shortening in skillet. Put in casserole.

GRAVY:

2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1 onion, chopped fine
1/3 c. strained tomatoes

Stir flour into melted butter; brown. Add enough water for right consistency. Add chopped onion and tomatoes.

Pour over steak. Cover with foil. Bake for 2 hours in 250 degree oven.
