BOJANGLES BISCUITS | |
2 c. self-rising flour 2 tsp. 10X powdered sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. buttermilk 1/3 c. Crisco Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and Crisco. Stir until little balls appear like cornbread. Add buttermilk and stir quickly, until mix does not stick to the side of bowl. Turn out on floured bowl. Roll around with hand about 5 minutes. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick with rolling pin. Cut with 3 1/2 inch cutter. Grease baking pan. Dip biscuits into butter before baking (1/2 stick for recipe). Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. |
