Pillsbury's flour
Baking powder
Baking soda
Salt
Shortening
Sugar
Eggs
Mil k
Vanilla
Pecans
Dates
Maraschino cherries
Kellogg's Corn Flakes

Sift 2 1/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Combine 3/4 cup shortening, 1 cup sugar, cream well. Blend in 2 eggs, add 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients; mix well. Add 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup chopped dates, cup chopped maraschino cherries. Mix well. Shape into balls. Crush 2 1/2 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes and roll ball of dough in corn flakes. Place on greased baking sheet. Top each cookie with 1/4 cherry. Bake 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
