CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING | |
4 slices day old bread 3 eggs, beaten 1 can evaporated milk 3/4 c. chocolate syrup 1/3 c. water Place bread on bottom of greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Blend together eggs, milk, syrup and water. Push bread down to soak up chocolate mixture. Let stand about 20 minutes. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. Store, COVERED, in the REFRIGERATOR. |
