3/4 scant c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. marmalade

Dissolve the lemon juice in the soda and hot water. Steam 2 to 3 hours. Eat with pudding sauce.
