Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 10 inch tube pan.

Sift together and set aside:

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream:

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar

Add:

2 1/2 c. prepared mince meat

Blend in:

2 eggs, well beaten

Add alternately with the flour mixture until quite smooth:

1 can (Campbell's) tomato soup

Mix in:

1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
