SOUTHERN SWEET POTATO PUDDING | |
1/2 c. butter 4 c. grated raw sweet potato 1 c. cane syrup 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1 c. raisins 1/2 tsp. cloves 3 eggs, beaten 1 tbsp. allspice 1 tbsp. cinnamon In heavy skillet, melt butter. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into heated skillet. Stir until heated. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with cream or lemon sauce, Crust will be crunchy and taste similar to candied coconut. |
