TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) can chuck or sliced pineapple, drained & cut in small pieces
4 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
3 c. Granny Smith apples, diced
1 c. Spanish peanuts, ground

Mix drained pineapple and marshmallows and set aside. In sauce pan blend flour, sugar, egg and vinegar. Cook until slightly thicken. When cool mix with Cool Whip and fold in pineapple and marshmallows. Then add apples and nuts. Reserve a few nuts to sprinkle on top.
