SWISS BAKED CHICKEN 
1/2 c. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. sherry
2 c. chicken, deboned
1 (15 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced & drained
1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
5 tbsp. butter, melted

Cook onion and mushrooms in butter; add flour, salt, and pepper. Stir in milk, sherry and sour cream. Add chicken and water chestnuts. Pour into casserole over cooked noodles. Sprinkle on grated cheese and top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes.
