SIMPLE WHITE SAUCE 
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. flour

Blend butter and flour together until smooth. Spread in an ice tray. Chill well, then cut into 16 cubes and freeze in plastic bag. When ready for use, thaw. Heat 1 cup of milk slowly; add 1 cube of sauce. Stir as sauce thickens. Makes a medium thick sauce. Adjust thickness of sauce by increasing or reducing heated milk.
