CHICKEN & STUFFING STRATA | |
8 oz. herb stuffing mix 1 1/2 - 2 c. cooked, chopped chicken or turkey 1/4 c. minced celery 1 med. onion, chopped 3 eggs 2 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 2 oz. or 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated Grease 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle 1 cup stuffing mix in bottom of pan. Add chicken or turkey, celery and onion over stuff. Put 1 cup stuffing mix on top. Beat eggs, milk and salt together and pour over casserole. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes or until puffed and golden. Let stand on wire rack 10 minutes before serving. |
