SCRAPPLE 
1 lb. whole hog sausage
1 c. corn meal
1 c. cold water
1 tsp. salt
3 c. boiling water

Brown and drain the sausage. Combine corn meal, cold water, salt and sausage. Stir in the hot water and continue stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes covered. Stir some. Put in loaf pan and chill. Slice and pan fry until browned. May serve with syrup of jelly.
