SEVEN LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped celery
10 oz. frozen peas
1 to 1/2 c. miracle whip
8 to 10 strips bacon
1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
4 to 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
parmesan cheese
2 tsp. sugar

Run hot water over peas and drain. Fry bacon crisp and cut into small pieces.

Tear lettuce up and put as first layer (1 in. high) in 9 x 13 inch pan, followed by celery, green pepper, peas, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of this. Spread miracle whip for next layer. Sugar then goes on top of miracle whip, sprinkle shredded cheese followed by the bacon.
