4 slices bacon, chopped 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tbsp. flour 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen peas or 1 can (2 1/2 c.) drained 1 c. light cream or evaporated milk 1 (4-8 oz.) can mushrooms 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt & pepper Partially fry bacon, add onion and cook until soft. Stir in flour then blend in cream. Cook until thickened. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add cooked, drained peas and mushrooms. Heat thoroughly. Serve. |
