PRETZEL SALAD 
1 1/2 c. smashed pretzels (Eagle Brand)
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

Melt butter and remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in smashed pretzels (1 1/2 cups). Pour and spread in 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake on 400 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes. Let cool. Break up and crumble with your hands. Mix together with cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 8 ounce Cool Whip, and 20 ounce drained pineapple. Stir in pretzels and let set overnight.
