EASY CHEESY MEAT LOAF (FOR
MICROWAVE OVEN)
 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 c. bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. instant, minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 slices American cheese

Place all ingredients, except cheese slices, into mixing bowl and blend well with a fork. Pat into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch glass loaf dish that is suitable for use in a microwave oven. Cover with waxed paper and cook on full power for 7 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Turn dish halfway through cooking time. Cut slices of cheese in half diagonally, so 4 triangles are formed. Place cheese triangles on top of meat loaf overlapping slightly and heat in microwave oven on full power for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until cheese is slightly melted.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
